I paint mainly in oils and now use a palette confined to just 12 colours.

Other media include pencil and charcoal drawings and occasional watercolours and monoprints.

Subjects tend to be figurative one-offs but some recurring themes include sport, places of worship, birds, the Alps, and individuals ‘up against it’.
